Island in the Community
At Island, we strongly believe that it is as important to share our success with our neighbors as well as our members. In keeping with the credit union philosophy of "people helping people," Island supports a select number of organizations and events to help ensure that Long Island remains a vital place to live, work and raise a family.
2020 Holiday Gift Drive
This year, Island Federal teamed up with Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro (@rmhcnym) for our annual holiday gift drive! The outpouring of support was nothing short of amazing. All of us are overwhelmed with joy by the generosity of our Members and Staff who donated enough toys to FILL a commercial van. If you did not get a chance to donate a gift, it's not too late to make a monetary donation by clicking here. Thank you for your generosity and support. Your kindness will help make many children and their families smile this holiday season.
2020 Stony Brook Film Festival
This year the Stony Brook Film Festival presented by Island Federal is going virtual! The Festival begins Thursday, September 10th, and will feature 24 independent films over the course of 12 weeks. Watch each film from the comfort of your home with the IndieFlix Festivals App. To get your all-access pass and for more information: Click Here
Hope for the Homeless Program
Island Federal has teamed up with Long Island Cares this fall for the Hope for the Homeless fundraiser. Starting October 1st, members and non-members can make a $5 donation to feed someone in need for an entire day. Island Federal will also match each $5 dollar donation that is made! Stop into any Island Federal branch to donate and we will add your name to our Wave Wall as an official supporter! Together we can help fight homelessness on Long Island.
Thank You For Your Contribution!

John Theissen Children's Foundation Toy Drive

We'll be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys at our branches (excluding Stony Brook University branches). All toys collected will be given to sick and underprivileged children via the Foundation. For more information about John Theiseen Children's Foundation, please visit www.jtcf.org.
