Island Federal's Fall Food Drive
Island Federal has teamed up with Long Island Cares to help those in need this season with our annual Fall Food Drive & Fundraiser
Starting October 16, 2024 and going through November 22th, we have set up two ways you can participate:
- Drop off non-perishable food at an Island Federal branch
- Donate a dollar or more at an Island branch, and we will pin up a soup can with your name on it.
Back-to-School Drive
The Team here at Island Federal had the privilege of packing up some school supplies for Suffolk County Legislator Sam Gonzalez’s 7th annual Back-to-School event in Brentwood.
With the help of other community groups, over 800 backpacks were distributed at the event, enabling families and students to receive much-needed school supplies as local school districts begin opening for the academic year.
The event took place at the Brentwood Union Free School District Administration Office and had such a great turnout!
Thank you to Suffolk County Legislator Sam Gonzalez for including us in such an awesome event and allowing Island Federal the opportunity to give back to our community.
Hope for the Homeless Program
Island Federal has teamed up with Long Island Cares this fall for the Hope for the Homeless fundraiser. Starting October 1st, members and non-members can make a $5 donation to feed someone in need for an entire day. Island Federal will also match each $5 dollar donation that is made! Stop into any Island Federal branch to donate and we will add your name to our Wave Wall as an official supporter! Together we can help fight homelessness on Long Island.
Thank You For Your Contribution!
Island would like to thank our members and staff for taking part in the Thankful Thursdays Food Drive in November. Collectively, we’ve donated 463 lbs of food and $1,000 in the soup can pin-up donations to Long Island Cares.
