The Referral Bonus promotion is open to all current Island Federal Credit Union Members in good standing, who refer a friend, co-worker or family member to: Open a new Island Cash Back Checking account with Debit Mastercard. *To receive the referral bonus, the new account must remain in good standing and complete at least two of the following three requirements within the first 90 days of Membership; 1) Perform at least 10 Debit purchase transactions of $5.00 USD or greater per transaction (excludes ATM transactions. Transactions involving peer-to-peer (“P2P”) services such as Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal are ineligible). 2) Have two Qualifying Direct Deposits of $500 or greater made into new Member’s checking or savings account. Qualifying Direct Deposit is defined as electronic deposit made from a payroll provider or government benefits provider by using the ACH network or the Real Time Payment Network. Electronic deposits generated from P2P services not considered eligible transactions. Or 3) maintain a combined checking account/savings account average month end balance of $5,000 USD or greater. If referred Member successfully completes at least two of the three requirements, Island Federal will deposit the bonus in the referring and new Member’s savings accounts in the month following the 90-day period.
