Understanding Your Medicare Options
Medicare is made up of different parts, each covering specific healthcare needs. Here’s a quick overview to help you get started.
Hospital Insurance
Helps cover inpatient care in hospitals, skilled nursing facility care, hospice care, and home health care services.
Medical Insurance
Covers services from doctors and other healthcare providers, outpatient care, home health care, durable medical equipment, and many preventive services.
Medicare Insurance
An all-in-one alternative to Original Medicare offered by private companies approved by Medicare. Often includes Part A, Part B, and usually Part D coverage.
Prescription Drug Coverage
A stand-alone drug plan that adds prescription drug coverage to Original Medicare, helping cover the cost of your medications.
